Tamara Steinfurth
My name is Tamara and I love sharing my passion for yoga with you here at lobe. I am in my final year of university to become a psychologist and discovered yoga for myself around 5 years ago. Since then, it has helped me personally find more stability and grounded energy in myself, to live more from my body/heart instead of my mind, and to see and feel my own strength more clearly.
I love to again and again set the focus on the breath and the beautiful mental space asana practice can help you create. On being present, mindful and to use the practice to let go of what no longer serves us and make space in our minds and bodies for new ideas, thoughts, and energies.
I teach both stronger and softer vinyasa classes as well as ashtanga vinyasa and yin as a cover. In all classes there is a strong focus on the breath and listening to what is right for you, while at the same time challenging you a bit. Where I can, I also like to include yogic philosophy and give you a question or thought to contemplate.
