Learn and love to adapt your yoga practice for pregnancy - finding an energetic practice that is mindful towards your changing body and your baby. This is not your traditional prenatal yoga class!This course provides an introduction into how the body changes during pregnancy and how a mother's asana practice can be adapted to support her body and her baby.
The course moves through different asanas (poses) and sequences that can be modified in a nurturing way. As a result, mothers feel confident and safe in their practice - in a prenatal class, Jivamukti/Vinyasa class, or at home. Teachers are also welcome!
Finding pregnant women in your open classes? This course is also helpful so that you have a set of offerings in your back pocket, the next time an expecting mother arrives. Special add-on: the session will close with a deep relaxation, a hypnobirthing exercise aimed to bring confidence and calm in preparation for birth.
Some previous yoga experience is recommended and all stages of pregnancy are welcome.
